Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a lovely day so far. Just to make your day even brighter, we’ve got our weekly Winsday on our Facebook Page. We are giving away some of our adorable Paddington Bear fabric!

Time for our How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our tutorial for our absolutely gorgeous Venn Placemats. Our Venn Placemats are the perfect mix between clean design aesthetic and keeping your surfaces, well, clean. We know that our mathematicians and designers will especially adore the style of our placemats. Have fun choosing different and unique print combinations! The simplicity and modernity of our Venn Placemats would work in any interior space. And because they are oh-so pretty, you’ll want to leave them as added decor on your dining table.

We offer two sizes of our Venn Placemat in this tutorial – a larger mat with the full Venn diagram look and a smaller mat, that is equally stunning. We chose to style ours with our Rise & Shine Collection, and think the blues, greys, and yellows would work wonderfully in any space.

Happy Monday!! We hope you all had a fantastic weekend, working on some sewing projects or just taking it easy. We are hosting our Paddington Bear Fabric Giveaway this week on our Facebook Page. Because Paddington is such an adventurous little bear, we want to know what your greatest adventure has been.

Starting off the week with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Sea Life by Heather Rosas Collection – a sea-inspired collection of fish, starfish, and seaweed in pretty blues and greens. This collection gives us that nostalgic feeling of being at the sunny and warm beach, a place we would love to be right now (instead of the frigid cold). Sea Life is happy and vibrant, a perfect collection for a beach house, sea-inspired room, or for kids’ clothing! We also love the idea of a simple, modern pillow for a beach-y vibe. Oh, our Wallace the Whale would love to dazzle in some Sea Life!

Valentino’s Spring 2015 Collection is the epitome of femininity and pure luxe. There are two distinct styles in this collection; one ethereal and the other boho-inspired with its geometric and block patterns. The dresses are flowy and loose, the perfect outfits for a vacation in the Mediterranean, to throw on after a day in the sun. We especially adore the sea-inspired prints – seafish against chiffon = the prettiest thing ever. We especially adore this dress, reminding us of our Sea Life Collection. Happy Friday!! We hope you all are having a lovely day…TGIF!! To kickstart the weekend, have you entered our Paddington Bear Giveaway yet? Enter to win 3 1/2 yards of our Paddington Bear Collection. It’s the North American premiere of the movie in theaters today, so we’re super excited about that too!

Ending the week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring an amazing quilt done by the super talented Katy J that we spotted on Instagram. She has always been a sewing enthusiast, doing something crafty everyday whether it be something for herself, for a gift, or for custom items. She had opened an Etsy Shop for her creations, but has taken a break from it. She sews all sorts of things from quilts, baby quilts, table runners, camera strap covers, to passport and bi-fold wallets. And, she shares her new items on her Facebook Page.

Katy’s husband is an Army pilot and, being inspired by him, has sewn almost 40 Fly Army Baby Quilts in the past four years. She had recently found our Take Flight Collection at a local fabric shop, and was so thrilled by our helicopter prints. When we saw the Take Flight quilt on Instagram, we got SO excited!!

It is an absolutely stunning quilt – the reds, blues, and yellows vibrant and cheery, and would make any future pilot-in-training very happy!! You did such a wonderful job, Katy! :)

It’s time for this week’s What We Love ♥ In the midst of winter, it can get pretty dreary and dull. Everything is just darker and colder, and all we want to do after a day out is come home and snuggle in a blanket with some hot tea. But even though things may not be as bright and warm, we are always full of inspiration and creativity.
