Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a nice day. It’s super cold here today, but we’re enjoying the sunshine from indoors haha. Oh! And, as if we even needed a reason for cake, it’s National Chocolate Cake Day. Cake, we’re coming from you!
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we’re bringing to you our super useful tutorial for a turning a seam to a slit, while avoiding any exposed edges. If you’ve ever wanted to create a slit at the back of a pencil skirt or simply wanted to alter a project by creating a slit, this From Seam to Slit tutorial will guide you in doing so, the easy way! The end result will be a clean seam, with the raw edges tucked away perfectly. And at the end of the tutorial, we’ve offered a cumulative jpeg of the steps that you can be printed out.

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday! We hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!! Did anyone work on some fun sewing projects? We would love to know!!
It’s time for some daily inspiration with this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Rise & Shine by Camelot Design Studio collection. Rise & Shine is a gorgeous collection of lattice, diamond, and trellis, and tweed geometrics. This collection is just bursting with wonderful turquoise, grey, and yellow hues that make you feel calm and happy. Our Rise & Shine designs would make for a beautiful mod-styled dress or circle skirt. As well, we adore the idea of fresh pops of turquoise and yellow in a neutral room, such as a Rise & Shine quilt or pillow.
Erdem’s Pre-Fall 2015 Collection is getting us super excited for fall fashion! The warm navy, burgundy, and grey hues are stunning together and make for a very polished look. This collection consisted of lots of lovely floral prints, preppy stripes, and 50s silhouettes. We are in love with this cute dress, that reminds us of the diamonds print from our Rise & Shine Collection. You can find the full collection here.
We hope you have been inspired this week. Have a fantastic day, everyone! :)

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! Hope everyone had a fantastic week – we’re excited for the weekend though! Today happens to be one of our favorite days…National Pie Day. YUM!! Apple pie, pecan pie, strawberry rhubarb pie, key-lime pie…yup, we could go on haha, but it’s just making us want pie even more! :)
Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a super awesome What’s Cookin’ project from Shanna of This Joyful Home. In 2005, Shanna noticed the limited selection of baby carriers available, and even so, were uncomfortable. She decided to use her own experiences with baby carriers to make her own design. Thus, her business Sweet Slings, LLC was born! In 2007, she moved and again found herself searching for products of limited supply or style. She decided to expand her product line to wet bags for cloth diapers, coordinating kitchen cloths, table runners, burlap mats, and more, and is relaunched as This Joyful Home.
Shanna used our What’s Cookin’ Collection for her Wet Bags, and we love it! They are perfect for hanging in a nursery or kitchen to easy put cloth diapers into, and come with accompanying wet cloths. Our What’s Cookin’ Collection make the bags modern and fun, so they look pretty hanging in a room vs. being an eyesore. Great choice, Shanna! :)
Thank you so much, Shanna, for the fabric love! We are so happy you love our What’s Cookin’ Collection for your Wet Bags. We adore the idea! You can find more from Shanna from her Etsy Shop andFacebook Page. Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!

It’s time for our What We Love #32 ♥ As we come to the end of our first month in 2015, we are taking the time to reorganize our thoughts and goals. With a new year and “new year resolutions”, sometimes we can make unrealistic goals for ourselves, which in turn can lead to disappointment. We are looking at the goals we set for ourselves, and choosing the ones that will make us “better”, but that are achievable within a year. This week, we have been inspired by some of our January experiences, and of course, the pretty things around us. See what we have been loving most… ♥
Vanessa: Donuts
Valeria: Cacti Sugar Cookies
Marion: How to Decoupage Furniture
Shannen: Vérité | Echo EP
Juan: Gourmet Burger
We hope we have inspired you with this week’s What We Love! We’d love to know what you have been loving most. As always, be sure to check out our Pinterest for more inspiration from us ♥

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! We hope you all are having a lovely day so far. Today is Celebration of Life Day so we’re taking some time to write down some of our 2015 goals. We’re going to make this year the best one yet!
Time for our weekly Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our awesome pattern designers, Elizabeth Shepherd of E-Beth Designs. Elizabeth is a of lover all sewing and fabric, just like us, who decided to create an online fabric shop when she became a stay-at-home mommy. Having two degrees in pattern and apparel design, there is no doubt that Elizabeth adores creating projects and patterns, so it came natural for her to add “pattern shop” to her list. “E-Beth Designs” was born; the name influenced by her grandpa’s nickname for her. Her patterns are fun, with a modern flair, for both adults and kids! Lots of colorful and eye-catching patterns to be found at E-Beth Designs!
We found Elizabeth on Instagram, when she had shared a project with us featuring one of our collections. After perusing her website, we knew we had to work with this talented designer. We collaborated with her to create an adorable Little One’s Apron pattern. The apron features pretty ruffles at the bottom and POCKETS!! Yes, we get excited about anything even more when they have pockets haha. We chose to feature it in our Beyond the Backyard by Jane Farnham Collection. It’s just the perfect apron for your little helper in the kitchen!
You can find the full tutorial for our Little One’s Apron on our website. Thank you so much Elizabeth for the wonderful pattern for our Free Projects Program. We had so much fun collaborating with you, and cannot wait for what’s to come. You can find more from Elizabeth on her website, Etsy Shop, Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram, . Have an amazing day, everyone!
