Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day! Tomorrow is the first day of Spring Quilt Market – we’re busy setting up the booth, but can’t wait!! Come see at booth #101 :)
Time for our Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring our gorgeous New Bohemian Quilt by Sarah Laws Made that we had made up for our Quilt Market booth. We thought it would be fun to share some sneak peeks here and there of the projects that will be at our booth…we’re also super excited about them and just couldn’t wait to share!! (haha) The New Bohemian Quilt is a free quilt pattern on our website, that was created by ever-so-talented pattern designer, Sarah Laws. She has a very modern and funky design style, which we absolutely adore!! She created this unique and fresh quilt pattern for us, and knew we had to feature it in our booth.
Stephanie Baldwin (one of our new faves!) is a quilter in Montreal, who we got into contact with from the Montreal Quilt Guild. It was so neat to meet such a sweet and talented quilter in Montreal. Stephanie was able to quilt the New Bohemian Quilt, featuring our Mixology prints, in a little over a week! Wow!! Her quilt work is also so clean and stunning… we are so impressed, and so in love with the quilt in person! She also quilted another wall hanging quilt for us for our booth, which we’ll be sharing LOTS of pictures of!! (or, stop by our booth (#101) to check it out too hehe ;))
Thank you SO much Stephanie!! You ROCK!! We are so obsessed with the quilts, and cannot wait for people to “ooo” and “ahh” at them at the show. Stephanie doesn’t have a blog (yet!), but you can check out more from the Montreal Quilt Guild. If you are a quilter and living in Montreal, we definitely recommend checking it out! And with that, have a fantastic day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a wonderful Winsday!! Today is also National Apple Pie Day – uhhh, YUM! There’s never been an apple pie I had that I did not like. Nothing better than a warm slice of apple heaven, wrapped up in a flaky crust and some ice cream…
Time to announce the winner of our Mother’s Day Winsday! This week, we hosted a Wildflowers FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page, inspired by our mums for Mother’s Day. We asked you what your favorite mommy-and-me memory was, whether as a child or more recent. We had so much fun reading all of the replies, and am sure it took you all down memory lane a bit… It was also a great way for us to think about our favorite moments with our moms. Definitely too many, but there are a couple that are very special to us. Love our moms!!
Of course, we could only choose one winner for our giveaway! With the help of our friend Mr. random.org, the winner of our Wildflowers FQ Bundle is…
Congratulations, Nicole!! You are the winner of our Wildflowers FQ Bundle. We are so excited for you, and can’t wait to see what you create. Please send us your mailing address to info@camelotfabrics.com by May 20th, 2015. A huge thank you to everyone who entered our giveaway. There’s lots more to come, so don’t worry!! Have a great day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are doing fantastic today! I want to wish all of the incredible nurses a Happy Nurse’s Day – we appreciate you, you are amazing, thank you for all that you do.
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are sharing an adorable Made by Rae little girl’s dress pattern that we had sewn up in-house (thanks, Tammy!), featuring our Pastel Me More Collection. Our Pastel Me More collection is just as the name suggests – beautiful pastel hues of blue, yellow, pink, and muted purple in fun geometric prints. The pastels work really well together to create unique color combinations, that are fun and girly. The happy colors in Pastel Me More are perfect for clothing, such as Made by Rae’s Geranium Dress.
We adore the versatility of the Geranium Dress, with the pattern including a range in sizes (newborn to kid’s size 12!), as well as different sleeve options (flutter sleeve, sleeveless, or faux cap sleeve). The Geranium Dress is the perfect everyday dress for your little one to go to school in or play at the park in. It ‘s such as sweet dress that can be worn casually, but also for a “nicer” event…while still feeling comfortable (which I know, is important for little ones!). We chose a blue and yellow triangle print for the bodice and pockets, and a contrasting yellow skirt, both from Pastel Me More. Super cute!!
You can find the full pattern for Made By Rae’s Geranium Dress here. You can also find more from Made by Rae on her blog, Facebook Page, Twitter, and Instagram. Have a wonderful day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday! How was everyone’s Mother’s Day weekend? A little cooler and dreary here, but we still had a lovely weekend celebrating the rock star women in our lives!
Time to start off the week with our Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our DC Comics: Immortal Collection by the Camelot Design Studio. DC Comics: Immortal brings back all of our bestselling DC Comics designs, from your favorite Girl Power prints (Wonder W0man, Supergirl, and Batgirl) to the strong heros (Batman, Superman, Aquaman). Back at it again, not only to help save the world, but to help make your projects superhero-worthy. Packed with bright blues, reds, greens, and yellows – our DC: Immortals Collection is sure to bring out the superhero in all of us!
We loved Arthur Arbesser’s Spring 2015 Collection! Simple in color palette – soft blue, coral, black, and white – but very spring-inspired and pretty. His collection had some great trends going on, including a peplum-hemmed dress, chiffon overlays, and adorable cropped outfits. It’s the perfect spring wardrobe for a week in the Hamptons! We especially loved this outfit, which was reminiscent of our DC Comics: Immortals Collection, like a modern-day Supergirl. Love!
We hope we have inspired you with this week’s Moody Monday! We’d love to know what trends you are looking forward to wearing for Spring. Have a great day!!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! It’s almost the weeeeeekend. Woo! We hope all the moms have an incredible Mother’s Day this weekend, surrounded by lots of love and warm hugs. (Pssst.. we’re also hosting a Mother’s Day Giveaway!)
It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a lovely personalized essential oils case found on the Girl Restored Shop. Jessie Carroll is the creative gal behind Girl Restored, an Etsy Shop dedicated to handmade, original bags of all sorts. She specializes in creating bags (clutches, train cases, makeup bags) with removable pockets for your essential oils, so that they are organized & will not spill everywhere. She also creates all of her own patterns, sells some of her patterns in her shop, and offers custom orders too.
Jessie chose our Bright Now by Jackie McFee Collection to create a fun, personalized case – complete with a personalized letter front, tassels, and pockets for your essential oils. She chose our yellow colorway for the bag, yellow drops for the shell & polka dots for the inner lining, that matched perfectly with the bronze letter and zipper tassel. The bag is a great size for all of your cosmetics, for travelling, and can hold up to 20 essential oil bottles.
Thank you, Jessie, for the fabric love!! You can find more from Girl Restored at her Etsy Shop, Facebook Page, Twitter, and Instagram. You can find her Bright Now bag here. Have a fantastic Mother’s Day weekend!!
