Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday!! I hope all of our fellow Canadians had a blissful and relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. We are filled with love, good memories, and lots of turkey & apple pie!
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Chevron Quilt by Vanessa Fromm of Fabric Confetti. The Chevron Quilt is a simple, yet modern quilt pattern of horizontal chevrons. Playing with geometric shapes, the chevrons cut cool geometrics in the background which look really fun using similar-toned fabric designs. We chose to showcase our Chevron Quilt with our Fresh Solids, and love how the midnight blue chevrons pop against the sunset-colored background. This would be beautiful to decorate a bed or wall space!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! Here’s to a fantastic weekend, everyone! Wishing all our fellow Canadians a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring some projects with our Paradise by Alisse Courter collection, created by Deb of Chosen Sisters. Chosen Sisters is an Etsy Shop owned by Capi and Deb, started after Capi had moved away. They wanted to find something they could do together and still be connected as friends. Their shop is a place where you can find unique and vintage-inspired, handmade pieces such as baby bonnets, bibs, traveling pouches, and pretty tape measures (an idea sparked from a magazine image!).
One of their latest additions is with our Paradise collection. We love how they were inspired by the collection, adding little buttons as flower centers – so lovely!! Now you’ll want to display your tape measure on your sewing table, instead of hiding it away in a tangled mess haha ;)
They also created a pouch set with Paradise, which includes a traveling pouch, a matching needlebook, and a tape measure. This would make for such a sweet gift for your fellow sewing friends!
Thank you so much for the fabric love! Your tape measures are genius, and we adore them with our Paradise collection. You can find more from Chosen Sisters on their Instagram, Facebook, and Etsy Shop. Have an awesome weekend!
Happy Sewing!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day! Did you see yesterday’s Winsday post? Enter to win 3 yards of our soft and cuddly Bambino fabric!
On to this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a lovely Australian-based online pattern shop, Tadah! Patterns. Tadah! Patterns evolved from Lauren Harris’ (owner and creative behind the brand!) love for sewing and want of creating clothing that is both comfortable and beautiful for little ones to wear. She loves timeless styles, with a modern twist, which she uses as influences in her patterns. She is passionate about sewing, which definitely can be seen in her gorgeous, easy-to-follow patterns. Her goal is to design patterns that fun to sew, but that result in professional quality garments.
One of Lauren’s latest patterns is the Tea Party Dress. The Tea Party Dress pattern is a darling little dress, that includes over 190 unique combinations – from sleeve, neckline, skirt length, skirt type, accessories, and more! The Tea Party Dress pattern allows for you to customize the perfect dress for your little one, whether it be for a day to the park or for a wedding! Additionally, the pattern includes sizes from 6 months to 8 years old, and is great for medium-skilled sewers.
Laura of LauraCreates, sewed a version of the Tea Part Dress for her daughter, Harriet, during pattern testing with our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham Collection. This dress features a full skirt, half-cap sleeves, and a scoop back. Her little one looks oh-so precious in her new party dress, and she is ready to dazzle and dance!
Too adorable, right? Thank you for choosing our fabric, Laura!! You can find the pattern for the Tea Party Dress here, as well as more from Laura on her Instagram. Have a great rest of the day!!
