Happy Friday! I hope you are having a great day! Have you entered our Nordic FQB Giveaway yet? Enter here to win this bundle of goodness.
Time to end our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing a sweet What a Gem Topknot and Shorts set, designed by Knox & Yorke. Knox & Yorke is an online, Australian-based shop dedicated to “funky threads and accessories for awesome little people”. She specializes in unique and custom pieces for little girls and boys, from harem shorts to lil’ shoes, with a good range in modern to vintage fabric.
A recent custom order was for a topknot and pair of little girl’s shorts, with our What a Gem by Allison Cole collection. We can just imagine a little girl out to dinner or playing in the park… of course being the stylish one there in her new play suit! How precious!!
Thank you so much for the fabric love! We are so happy you love our What a Gem collection. You can find more from Knox & Yorke on Instagram and Facebook. Have a lovely weekend!

Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are doing well. Have you entered our Nordic FQ Bundle Giveaway yet? Be sure to enter here!
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are sharing some more of our Quilt Market projects; these sewn by Carrie Burnett of Beri Bee Designs. Carrie sewed two projects for our Fall Quilt Market booth, and adore them so much! The first was an adorable growth chart for our Mickey Mouse & Friends section. We chose the growth chart tutorial from the Bowls of Cherry blog, and love to fun and nostalgic feel using our Mickey collection. It would be the perfect addition to a little kid’s bedroom.
She also designed a palette pillow with buttons, our Nordic section. We didn’t have a specific tutorial for this one, but wanted to create a cozy corner with a palette seat. We stacked a couple of our palettes, and put the palette pillow on top and it made for the perfect nook.
Thank you, Carrie, for sewing these projects for us! We received so many wonderful compliments on our booths at Quilt Market. We have also now transferred the Nordic palette seat to our office ;) SO cozy and the perfect spot for an afternoon nap. Have a great day!
Happy Sewing!

It’s time for this week’s What We Love #75 ♥ How did the holiday season catch up with us so soon? As we step outside now, the streets are decked in glitter and sparkle – creating a magical scene against the onyx sky. We can’t help by getting to the holiday spirit, even though it isn’t quite December yet. But, it never is too early to listen to holiday music or bake gingerbread people… at least we don’t think so ;) See what we have been loving this week… ♥

Hi everyone,
Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. We haven’t updated you all on any national food days in a while… so Happy National Baklava Day! ;)
Time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Framed Quilt, designed by Chris Hoover of Whirligig Designs. Framed is a fun and modern quilt design, consisting of connected “frames” in vertical lines. This quilt does not have a border, so it has a cool look of the frame repetitions continuing off the quilt. You can have a lot of creative fun with this one. We chose to feature our sunset-inspired Fresh Solid colors, with a line of Wildberry, Geranium, Grapefruit, and Chamomile. To add a pop, we chose our Tide and Amethyst colors for the background. We love how our Solids Framed quilt looks like modern art!
