Hi everyone,
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovely day!
Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! We wanted to share a couple more Quilt Market projects that were sewn for us, for our booth. We were connected with Larissa Gibbs – a wonderful blogger and pattern designer – this year, and she sewed three projects for our Quilt Market With Love section. The first project we chose for With Love is the Seamwork’s Adelaide dress – a casual tank dress with a waist-tie. We decided the vintage-inspired scrolls print would be perfect for this dress!
The next is Swoon Pattern’s Blanche Barrel bag, which with With Love by Jack!e McFee, makes for a very sweet and feminine gym or shopping tote. The final project was a bow clutch, pattern by ConstructivePatterns. We chose the fun hearts print for this one, and matched with the funky bow detail, love how it turned out!!
Thank you so much, Larissa! You did an amazing job, and it was so great working with you!! Here’s to many, more fun projects :) Have a fantastic day!

The holiday season is officially here! And there is so much left to do – decorating the tree, finding those last minute gifts, planning the perfect menu for your upcoming holiday party, and baking, baking…and oh yes, more baking. And while we can’t help with your holiday shopping or baking, we’ve got a fun DIY today that will surely add festivity to your party decor!
Our Chalkboard Fabric Holiday Banner is perfect for organizing your party (DIY hot chocolate bar, anyone? :)), as a backdrop for a photobooth, or for adding some extra holiday cheer! We had our office Christmukkah party this past weekend, and our banner added a modern and creative element to the decor. And the best parts? It’s not too difficult to make… and it’s reusable!

Hi everyone,
Happy Monday! I hope you are all had a wonderful weekend. We had our annual Christmukkah office party this weekend, and what a wonderful time it was!
Time for this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are featuring our Bonne Nuit collection – a dreamy collection of clouds, stars, and sleeping bears in a muted grey and turquoise colorway. So cozy and snuggly – perfect for creating a baby quilt and some matching pillows for a nursery! And, the colors work really well for a calm, gender-neutral look.
Valentino’s Spring/Summer Couture 2015 collection included lots of flowy, gala-ready dresses, from dark ornate florals to soft florals. There was also a strong oriental influence to the collection, with the kiminos and darker tapestry-inspired fabrics. One dress that we loved is this one, which was very reminiscent of the cloud prints in Bonne Nuit. So heavenly and pretty!
We hope we have inspired you today! We’d love to know trends you have been loving lately. Have a great day!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday! I hope you are having a fantastic one!! We had our Secret Santa and cookie exchange in the office, so we’re all a little hopped on sugar and presents this morning. Can’t every day be like this? ;)
Time for our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing a darling mini quilt Ida of IdaRatherBeQuilting made for the Cut Up and Quilt Mini Swap. Ida is big fan of negative space, especially as it gives a fresh and modern look to a quilt. She doesn’t always gravitate towards bold geometrics, but little pops are always fun with negative space. She had some of our Emilia double gauze fabric left from the quilt she made for us for QM, and decided to create this gorgeous quilt – with a stunning lily design. She calls it the Lily Gauze quilt.
How pretty is that? We hope the quilter who received the Lily Gauze quilt adores it as much as we. We are so happy Ida enjoyed working with this collection, and made something extraordinary with the fabric leftovers. Be sure to check out more from Ida on her blog and Instagram. Have an incredible weekend, everyone!
