Happy Thursday! I hope everyone is having a lovely day. And a Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends! Wishing everyone a joyful day filled with lots of delicious food, warm hugs, and memorable moments…

Today is also Thankful Thursday! We wanted to take the time to thank all the incredible people we are so lucky to be surrounded by. Thank you to our amazingly talented artists – Alisse, Heather, Andrea, Ciana, Allison, Jackie, Vita – who continue to inspire us with their beautiful work and kind hearts. Thank you to our loving families – for always being there when we need it most and being a constant support. Thank you to our wonderful friends and significant others – for all the crazy, hilarious, and heartfelt moments… our chosen family.

Thank you to all the lovely people we have gotten to work with this year – including the magazine features, blog collaborations, and project pattern designers for our free projects program. We are forever grateful. And, last but certainly not least, a big thank you to all of YOU for letting us be a small part of your lives everyday, whether in fabric form or by visiting our lil’ blog. Your projects and comments always make our days! Thank you!!

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are sharing some more of our Quilt Market projects; these sewn by Carrie Burnett of Beri Bee Designs. Carrie sewed two projects for our Fall Quilt Market booth, and adore them so much! The first was an adorable growth chart for our Mickey Mouse & Friends section. We chose the growth chart tutorial from the Bowls of Cherry blog, and love to fun and nostalgic feel using our Mickey collection. It would be the perfect addition to a little kid’s bedroom.

She also designed a palette pillow with buttons, our Nordic section. We didn’t have a specific tutorial for this one, but wanted to create a cozy corner with a palette seat. We stacked a couple of our palettes, and put the palette pillow on top and it made for the perfect nook.

Thank you, Carrie, for sewing these projects for us! We received so many wonderful compliments on our booths at Quilt Market. We have also now transferred the Nordic palette seat to our office ;) SO cozy and the perfect spot for an afternoon nap. Have a great day!

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a lovely day. Chilly, gloomy, mid-November day… but it’s almost the weekend! ;)

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring a couple of projects we had sewn for our Fall Quilt Market booth. One of our favorite quilters, and fellow Montrealer, Stephanie Baldwin quilted one quilt and sewed two bags for our booth. And, as always, Stephanie did an a-MAZ-ing job. The two bags were done with our new Flourish by Ciana Bodini collection, a gorgeous green and pink floral collection. The first is the Sienna Tote by  lbg studio. We chose the darker floral for the body, which contrasted nicely with the mint green gingham handles and bottom. The other bag is the Della Wallet Clutch by Swoon Patterns. We love how pretty this clutch came out, and would make for a perfect Christmas gift!

As well, Stephanie quilted our Cracker Lattice Quilt with our With Love by Jack!e McFee collection. We had never seen the physical version of the quilt, so we were especially excited to see this one. The pink and tan heart & floral prints worked wonderfully in this quilt design… we always love Stephanie’s quilting! It was the perfect backdrop to our With Love section.

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a great day! Today is National Doughnut Appreciation Day… so get to appreciating and have a doughnut! ;)

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring one of our lovely sewers who made some projects for our Fall Quilt Market booth, Denita Walker of HattieLu Handmade. Denita is a sewing and fabric enthusiast, who shares her latest creations on her blog and has an Etsy Shop to sell her goodies. We were connected with Denita as a Pattern Revolution contributor, and had an amazing time working with this lovely gal. She sewed two projects for our booth – the first, a stylish two-piece dress – the Vanamo Dress by Named – with our Nordic Collection. It was truly a stand-out piece in our Nordic section, and our “Val” mannequin was rockin’ it!

Denita also sewed the super cool London Backpack by UpCraftClub with our new The Alchemy: Indigo Collection. We adore the vegan leather she chose, which is a perfect compliment to the blue hues of the Alchemy prints.

Happy Thursday! I hope everyone is having a good one. It’s a bit gloomy here today, but we are excited because tomorrow is Hallow’s Eve!!

Time for this week’s Thankful Thursday! Today we are featuring some projects we had done for our Fall Quilt Market booth. Melissa of Sew Bittersweet Designs sewed a couple of outfits with our Mickey Mouse & Friends collection that are just the sweetest!! The first is the Hummingbird Dress, pattern by RabbitRabbitCreation, that we chose to feature with our adorable Minnie Mouse, red print. A more “playful” outfit is the Sweet Comfy Romper by Puperita Patterns – our primary-colored print was the perfect choice! As well, our Teeny Tiny Tunic (a free pattern on our website!) was so cute in the Minnie colors – especially how the pockets looked like teeny Minnie Mouses!

Finally, Melissa also sewed the children’s Kimono Sleeve Romper by SalmePatterns! The grey Mickey Mouse & Friends print makes this little romper cool and stylish, while still being fun and comfortable!

Melissa did such an incredible job sewing these outfits for us, is always such a sweetheart to work with, and we thank her for making our Mickey Mouse & Friends booth all the more special!!
