Let’s start off this week with our Moody Monday! Today we are sharing a stunning and zesty collection by Jane Farnham for Spring 2014…Peacock Garden! This collection is bright and vibrant with its fun chartreuse, spearmint, royal blue, and pink color palette. And just as the name suggests, Peacock Garden includes pretty peacock-inspired designs with dainty peacock feathers and plumage décor. The colors and flora designs give this collection a very happy and playful feel, but at the same time very feminine and soft. We can imagine a lovely Farmer’s Market tote with Peacock Garden, as well as a fun summertime dress. This collection would be absolutely stunning as a quilt too!
For Spring, you can never go wrong with florals or pastel colors! And Jenny Packham’s Spring 2014 Collection suggests just that. Enthralled in pretty, muted shades of pinks, blues, and greens (with the fun pop of chartreuse!) this collection reminds us of our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham collection. We absolutely adore the mix of tones, the fluttering chiffons, and the incredible beaded work that Jenny used to create a fantastic, Edwardian-inspired fashion collection. We especially love this dress, which captures the wonderful flora essence of Peacock Garden. You can see the full collection here!
Be sure to check out our Peacock Garden by Jane Farnham collection, and let us know which design is your favorite. We hope we had inspired you today with our Moody Monday. Have a great day! :)

Hi everyone!
Happy Monday!! We hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Happy Memorial Day to all our American friends! Have you seen our latest How To’s Day? We posted a tutorial for a stunning Lattice Table Runner that would be the perfect centerpiece for all the upcoming Summer parties. Find the free tutorial here!
It’s time to start another great week with our Moody Monday! Today we are inspiring you with one of our Spring 2014 Collections…Folklore by Heather Rosas for Camelot Fabrics. Folklore is an exquisite collection of ruby, turquoise, and cream hues to create a very happy and modern look. The designs in this collection include sweet birds, fluttery leaves, and a multitude of spring florals – daisies, roses, and tulips!
There is a Scandinavian feel of the designs in Folkore, but the brighter colors make it very fresh and on-trend. We can imagine a perfect Farmer’s Tote, a precious apron for the baking enthusiast, or a playful dress with the turquoise & red hues of Folklore!
One collection that has a similar essence to Folkore is Antonio Berardi’s Spring 2014 collection. The soft hues of creams, nudes, and pinks make this collection very pretty and fluttery, especially with the sheer and delicate fabrics. We especially adore the floral detailing, with the subdued metallic accents. This collection is very feminine and dainty, and we love the juxtaposition of the bohemian-inspired hairstyle and bold red lips. This collection reminds us of our Folklore by Heather Rosas Collection with its beautiful floral details, muted creams and pinks, and boho-vibe. You can check out the full collection HERE! We hope you have enjoyed this week’s Moody Monday!

Hi everyone!
Happy Monday! We hope everyone had a lovely weekend. It’s Victoria Day here in Canada, so we’re enjoying the long weekend. The weather has been absolutely pristine….and we have an extra day to enjoy it! :) Oh, have you entered our Chalkboard Fabric & Chalk Markers Giveaway yet? You can enter here! The giveaway ends tomorrow.
To start off our week, we have our Moody Monday! Because we launched our Spring 2014 Collections last week, we are continuing the trend by talking a bit more about each one. Today we are going to share and inspire you with our Spectrum Collection by Camelot Design Studio. When we think of a perfectly crisp Summer day complete with a pretty frock, a bike ride to the farmer’s market, and some freshly squeezed lemonade…that is what Spectrum exudes to us! The citrus-inspired hues of tangerine, lemon, lavender, and mint green makes us crave a cool, summer drink! Spectrum is bright, vibrant, and happy…and you can’t help but feel that way too when creating a project or wearing a piece using this collection.
With Spring officially here, we are bringing out our favorite Summer dresses and playsuits! We are so excited not having to bundle up into a thick scarf and down coat anymore. One collection that reminds us of Spectrum is Nina Ricci’s Spring 2014 RTW collection. Complete with citrus-infused colors (yellows, oranges, and grapefruit) and playful silhouettes, we absolutely adore this one.
Ricci’s collection is a mixture of texture and strong colors; exquisite ruffle details, delicate eyelet, pretty tweed, and playful print combinations make this collection reminiscent of a summer in the Hamptons! We especially love this outfit, as well as this one, and this one. You can see the full collection here! Be sure to check out all the designs of our Spectrum Collection, and let us know your favorites! We hope we have inspired you today :)

Hi everyone!
Happy Monday! We hope you all had a fantastic and loving Mother’s Day weekend. It was absolutely gorgeous here this weekend, the weather was pristine, and we are hoping it only continues like this! We are also launching our new Spring 2014 collections this week, so there will be extra blog posts today, but we are keeping our regular schedule too. Lots of goodies for you to read/see this week!
It’s time for this week’s Moody Monday! Today we are sharing our Whoo’s Cute by Heather Rosas moodboard with you all. This collection is soft, cuddly, and innocently adorable. As the name suggests, this is a fun, owl-printed collection featuring woodland-sy branches, leaves, and acorns! Whoo’s Cute features a warm mix of pinks and blues, along with brown and green to match the woodsy theme. The owls are friendly and kind, and the soft patterns make this collection perfect for a girl or boy nursery, or for a couple of sweet, Spring dresses. Whoo’s Cute by Heather Rosas is also available in both cotton and flannel.
Keeping in the theme of all things magical and kid-friendly, Disney’s Maleficent is coming to a screen near you soon! We are just so excited, being uber Disney fans at the Camelot Design Studio, so we will definitely be watching this movie when it hits theaters. We all know the story of Sleeping Beauty, but now it’s the evil queen’s time to shine. The Maleficent movie will dig deeper into the Evil Queen’s reasoning behind casting a sleeping spell on Princess Aurora. What’s even more amazing is that Angelina Jolie will be Maleficent, Ella Fanning will play Aurora. We can’t wait! You can check out the full trailer here! The movie will be in theaters later this month.
We hope you have enjoyed this week’s Moody Monday! I know there were quite a few blog posts today, so we hope things aren’t too confusing. If you missed them, please check out our Star Wars III, Ultimate Spider-Man II, and Girl Power II blog posts about each collection in more depth. We really hope you enjoy our new Spring 2014 collections; there’s more to come this week! :)

Hi everyone!
Happy Monday!! We hope everyone had a lovely weekend, and a fantastic May the 4th!! Also – Happy Cinco de Mayo to those who celebrate. Have you entered our Glow-in-the-dark Star Wars Fabric Giveaway yet? There’s still time to enter!!
To start off a brand-new week, we have our Moody Monday! Today we are sharing our Angry Birds Star Wars fabric collection with you all. Yesterday was Star Wars Day, so we wanted to carry on the celebrations into the week by showcasing one of our Star Wars collections. In fact, Star Wars Day had become so popular that May 5th was jokingly pronounced “Revenge of the Fifth” (A play on the Star Wars’ movie “Revenge of the Sith”). On this day, Star Wars fans let their “evil sides” shine through by celebrating the Sith Lords and evil villains from Star Wars.
I guess that could definitely correlate with our Angry Birds Star Wars collection, as the Angry Birds are the Rebels & the Piggies are the Empire! The original Angry Birds game was launched in 2009, and have since accounted for over 2 billions downloads worldwide across all platforms. Since its launch, its popularity has led to game merchandise, collaborations, and future film & television ventures making it the largest mobile app success right now!
The game is actually so much fun, and even more addicting…and Star Wars decided to get on board in 2012. They created a collaborative Angry Birds Star Wars game, and from its success, an Angry Birds Star Wars II the following year. The game includes all of your favorite Star Wars characters, including Luke Skywalker Bird as Red, Han Solo Bird as Chuck, Chewbacca Bird as Terrence, Princess Leia Bird as Stella, and Stormtrooper Pigs! We created a concurrent Angry Birds Star Wars Fabric Collection to correlate with the game, the characters, and its success! The collection is bold and vibrant, including all of your favorite characters in action. Get in on the fun here!
We hope you have enjoyed this week’s Moody Monday! Be sure to enter our Star Wars Giveaway if you haven’t yet. May the force be with you!
