Hi everyone!

Happy Friday everyone!! Happy Fourth of July to all our American friends!! We wish you a fantastic and safe celebratory weekend!! If you haven’t seen it yet, we posted some awesome DIY Fourth of July gift and party ideas on our blog last week…here’s the link to check it out!

It’s also time to end another super week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a wonderful Etsy Shop and blog: Charley, Dee, & Me! Charley, Dee, & Me is a blog run by Rebecca, and dedicated to all things fabric-related. Rebecca loves to sew and quilt, especially with the women in her family, and enjoys blogging about all of her project-making adventures. As well, Rebecca shares tutorials with her readers – table runners, a fun toaster cover, and more! :)

In correlation with her blog, Rebecca also has an Etsy Shop where she sells her beautifully handmade burp cloths, blankets, and quilts for little ones. A lot of the chain store products for babies are generic and, for lack of a better word, boring…but Rebecca brings a contemporary flair to baby stuff! Rebecca has impeccable taste in fabric designs, so all of her products are eye-catching and modern, perfect for all the little ones who want to be comforted but also stay in style! We absolutely adore these burp cloths that Rebecca made with our Frolicking Forest by Heather Rosas Collection. This set is absolutely adorable, and the packaging is perfection as well. It would make for such a lovely baby shower gift!

It’s also time for our Fan Friday! What a great way to end another fantastic week, the first official week of Summer! And just in time for summertime, we are featuring an awesome Etsy Shop today….Vintage Divinities! Vintage Divinities, a really fun clothing Etsy Shop by Martha Godinez, is dedicated to vintage-inspired pieces such as crop tops, printed shirts, skater skirts, floral crowns, and tulle skirts! All of the items are handmade with love, and all done in really bright and festival-inspired prints and colors.

When we saw this crop top with our Star Wars fabric, we had a moment!! We absolutely adore how fun and modern this top is, with a Star Wars twist. And because it is Summer, we are all about comfort and casualwear…while still being put together and on-trend, and this is the perfect top for that. It would be great with a high-waisted pair of shorts or tulle skirt – so cute!

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday!! It’s officially Summer tomorrow, and we are oh-so excited!! Have you seen our What We Love post yesterday? The Camelot Design Studio shared our weekly loves with you! You can check out the post here :)

It’s also time to end another great week with our Fan Friday! Today we’ve got one that is inspiring us to do some summer baking this weekend. Ruth Davis of Quilt ‘n’ Fabric shared with us two absolutely beautiful aprons created with our Gray Matters More by Jackie McFee collection…and we just had to share! Quilt ‘n’ Fabric is a quilt shop located in Maine dedicated to handmade quilts, fabrics, yarn, and other sewing, knitting, crocheting, & scrap-booking supplies. As well, sewing classes and patterns are offered!

These two GMM apron designs feature a retro-style halter, a big bow waist-tie, and a ruffled bottom…all of our favorite things!! The yellow and gray color combination works perfectly for a fresh and contemporary-looking apron, perfect for the stylish baking- or cooking-enthusiast. We absolutely adore them, and they make us want to cook up something yummy in the kitchen now!! :)

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!! It’s rainy and gloomy here on this Friday the 13th. Let’s hope that’s the only dreary thing about today. It’s also Sewing Machine Day – how neat! Anyone planning to sew this weekend? :) We’re also hosting a Neon & On FQ Bundle Giveaway on our Facebook Page. Be sure to enter HERE!

A couple of weeks ago, we were perusing George Takei’s Facebook Page (as we do, he always posts the best memes!)…and we stumbled upon a post with our Star Trek fabric. George Takei posted OUR Star Trek fabric. Needless to say, it took us a while to let that sink in. And once it did, and we did our happy dance, we excitedly read through some of the comments on the post. We were amazed!! There were SO many wonderful Star Trek and sewing enthusiasts who posted their projects using that exact Star Trek fabric design! Seeing all the incredible projects with our designs made our whole year!! Star Trek has one of the most loyal fan bases, and it has been so fun getting to be a small part of it.

We thought it would be fun to share with you all today some of the amazing, Star Trek projects that were linked with the post. We contacted them, and they all graciously sent photos and more information on their projects.

Heather created this awesome Laptop bag with our Star Trek fabrics, which includes a supportive crossbody strap and room enough for a large laptop as it measures 18″ x 15″ x 4″. Love it!

We adore this gorgeous Star Trek crossbody bag by Pannay! This crossbody is perfect for students with lots of books or a laptop to carry, but was inspired to entice her husband to carry the diaper bag (hehe clever!). Pannay also sells fun bag patterns at her Etsy Shop, and has a blog. Be sure to check her out for more!

We love a great quilt, and this one surely catches our eye! Cathy used our Star Trek fabric to create this awesome quilt for her friends. It’s colorful, fun, and bright and we adore how she highlights the characters well. Great job, Cathy!

A BIG thank you to Heather, Pannay, and Cathy for sharing their Star Trek projects with us!! :) We also want to thank George Takei for sharing about our Star Trek fabric!! Still such a surreal moment for us here. We hope everyone has a great Father’s Day weekend!!

13 June

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday!! We hope everyone is having a really great day! We started a new feature on the blog this week called What We Love – a post dedicated to all things that the Camelot Design Studio is loving at the moment! We really hope you enjoyed the first post; we are super excited for the next! :)

To end another lovely week, we have our Fan Friday to share. Today we are featuring an Etsy Shop, The Bib Boutique, with a very fun and modern feel. This handmade shop is dedicated to handmade bibs, turbans, baby teething pads, and other baby necessities, in cute prints. Irene, owner of The Bib Boutique, also creates beautiful headbands and turbans for adults in modern geometric and patterned fabrics!

Irene shared with us her Wonder Woman bib using our DC Comics Originals Collection, and we just had to share! She also created baby teething pads with Wonder Woman, and we just love it. We love creative patterns for babies, and our Wonder Woman print fits the bill (or, bib we should say hehe). Every future superheroine needs her very own girl power bib, of course, so that she can be protected and ready for what’s ahead! :)
