Hi everyone,
Happy Fri-YAY!! So excited for the weekend!!! And do you know what’s even more exciting?! Today is National Doughnut Day!! Oh yes, that is right. We donut mess around ;) Hahaha!
Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing a gorgeous bag made by Becky Proffitt Wright, featuring our London Fog Collection. London Fog is our moody and cool grey/blue collection with a pinch of yellow. This collection reminds us of those temperate, cloudy days better spent indoors with a hot mug of earl grey tea, curled up in bed with a good book. And, if we’re feeling snazzy, maybe a donut too haha. We’d love to be whisked away to London to see the London Eye and Big Ben, but for now, London Fog satisfies that craving.
Becky Proffit Wright made a bag for her friend, using a pattern from Noodle Head Patterns. The lovely Super Tote Bag featured two thick straps for easy travel, an outer pocket, pinched sides, and lots of interior space for your goodies. Becky chose to feature our bold London Fog prints, and we think it looks SOOO beautiful!! We are in love with the mix of blue and grey prints, to create such a fun and stylish tote.
Thank you for the fabric love, Becky! We hope that your friend loves her new London Fog bag, because we are obsessed! If you’d like to make your own Super Tote, you can find the pattern here. And with that, donut forget to have a fantastic weekend (yup, we had to ;))!

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! I hope you all had a fantastic week – so excited and ready for the weekend!! :)
Time to end a great week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a fun Coraline Laptop Bag by Valerie Higgins of Eldra Ann Designs. Eldra Ann Designs is a small Etsy shop that Valerie started last year, as a way to share her fun project creations. Sewing is something she learnt from her mom and grandmothers, and now is an enjoyable hobby that helps relieve the daily stress (oh, we can so relate!). She said that she can get lost into a project, way into the night, but loves every minute of it. She opened up Eldra Ann Designs to share with others, specifically creating custom orders for people.
One of the custom orders Valerie received was for a laptop bag. She used an altered version of Swoon Patterns‘ (one of our faves!) Dakota Bag and used our Coraline by Camelot Design Studio collection as the main fabric, including a fun interior and strap detailing. We love the use of the coral pattern, while keeping the rest of the bag neutral with a gray fabric. The bag is finished with two hidden snaps, and makes for the perfect, stylish bag for carrying your laptop – either to work or school!
Thank you for the fabric love, Valerie! We’re so glad you love our Coraline Collection and chose it for this bag. We adore it! You can find more from Valerie on her Instagram and Etsy. Have an incredible weekend!!!

Ending our week with our Fan Friday! Today we are sharing a gorgeous bag by Reece Montgomery, featuring our Heavy Metal by Jackie McFee Collection. A Canadian mom, sewer, and blogger, the super talented Reece used a bag pattern from Sew Sweetness, and it turned out fab-U-lously! Heavy Metal by Jackie McFee is our fun metallic gold and silver collection of dots, chevrons, and animal prints shimmering away. Reece used our gold star metallic print for her bag, accented with a gold and black print handle, for a true “standout” bag. Shine, shimmer, and sparkle!!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! I hope you all had an amazing week. We are currently at Quilt Market, Day 1, so be sure to stop by and say hi – booth #101!
Time to end the week with our Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a lovely Wilksten Tank made by Melissa Karpetz. Wilksten is a wonderful online shop selling ethically-made (and mostly handmade!) clothing pieces, accessories (hats, ornaments), and patterns. Wilksten is run by a husband-wife doctor/pattern-making designer duo who “seek to encourage thoughtful buying by giving our customers a personal connection to their purchases”. Melissa is a home sewer who shares her creations on Instagram, one being the Wilksten Tank she created with our Cove Collection. She chose a cozy turquoise and grey geometric pattern that works really well with the flowy tank – perfect to match with a pair of white pants and wedges. Our Cove Collection has a sea-inspired feel to it, so it was a perfect choice for the tank.
We really love this tank, Melissa, so thank you for sharing it with us! And thank you for the fabric love. We can think of lots of fun ways to style it for the Spring and Summer, such a great essential. You can find more from Melissa on Instagram. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!! It’s almost the weeeeeekend. Woo! We hope all the moms have an incredible Mother’s Day this weekend, surrounded by lots of love and warm hugs. (Pssst.. we’re also hosting a Mother’s Day Giveaway!)
It’s time for this week’s Fan Friday! Today we are featuring a lovely personalized essential oils case found on the Girl Restored Shop. Jessie Carroll is the creative gal behind Girl Restored, an Etsy Shop dedicated to handmade, original bags of all sorts. She specializes in creating bags (clutches, train cases, makeup bags) with removable pockets for your essential oils, so that they are organized & will not spill everywhere. She also creates all of her own patterns, sells some of her patterns in her shop, and offers custom orders too.
Jessie chose our Bright Now by Jackie McFee Collection to create a fun, personalized case – complete with a personalized letter front, tassels, and pockets for your essential oils. She chose our yellow colorway for the bag, yellow drops for the shell & polka dots for the inner lining, that matched perfectly with the bronze letter and zipper tassel. The bag is a great size for all of your cosmetics, for travelling, and can hold up to 20 essential oil bottles.
Thank you, Jessie, for the fabric love!! You can find more from Girl Restored at her Etsy Shop, Facebook Page, Twitter, and Instagram. You can find her Bright Now bag here. Have a fantastic Mother’s Day weekend!!
