Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a fantastic day. Today is How To’s Day on the blog, and we’ve got one of the most adorable DIY tutorials to share with you.

Today’s tutorial is on our DIY Raccoon Softie Pillow. He’s soft, he’s squishy, and he’s super sweet. He is the perfect cuddling friend for all your little (and big!) loved ones! A person can never have too many plush toys or pillows, and this little guy is the perfect mix of both and would make anyone happy. Whether as a newborn baby’s first stuffie, a cuddler for a little one, or a pillow friend for anyone…no one will be able to resist his absolutely charming and friendly face!

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having an exceptional day. The mild weather here was short-lived, as we are once again enduring the harsh winds and frozen toes. Winter is still among us, and has no plans to leave any time soon.

But, looking at the calendar we cannot believe that January is almost over…February is just around the corner. It’s time to start preparing for all the Valentine’s Day festivities complete with hearts, pink and red, sugar, and pretty garlands! Any holiday is enough justification for us to find a reason to celebrate, and we’ve got a How To’s Day for you that will surely add some party glam. Throw on your most exuberant dress, a pair of bold heels, armfuls of glitzy jewelry, and add on our cropped jacket to complete the look. Take a peak at how marvelous and classy our cropped jacket looks:

For the ivory jacket, we used 4140707 #3 Tan Lattice. For the blue jacket, we used 4140706 Preppy Harlequin. Both these prints are from the Paisley Please Collection by Jackie McFee.

Last week’s How To’s Day was all about the wonderful men in our lives, but don’t worry girls – we haven’t forgotten about you! We love any reason to play dress up and look fabulous, and today’s tutorial will do just that. Today we are sharing our Cropped Jacket Tutorial for you all!

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. The end of the Winter holidays only means the commence of all celebrations to follow (ie. Valentine’s Day, St. Patty’s Day, Easter, etc.). With the bountifulness of all the upcoming celebrations, having the appropriate attire is always *fitting*. And yes, from one woman to another, it’s honestly one of the best parts of a holiday – finding a new and pretty outfit to match! ;) But…how about the men in our lives?

Sure, a man can wear his best suit…but even they have the chance to amplify their outfit a bit. Changing up a necktie design is one of the easiest ways to start anew with a basic suit. Today we are sharing our DIY necktie tutorial with you all! Any design would look fantastic with our tutorial, but we especially adore our Iconic collection as an added freshness and modernity to a look.

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday everyone! We hope you all are having a wonderful day. It is terribly cold and windy here today, with just a wind gust of only 45 km/hr (27.9 mi/hr)…eek! We are exceptionally jealous of all of you who are enjoying sunny weather and warm rays. With the cold weather, we need something to cheer us up…such as a…party! The holiday festivities have thus come to an end, but sometimes throwing a fantastic party on impulse is the best way to lift the spirits of any bit of S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder).

For us, any gathering that includes great company, amazing food, and lovely decor (and maybe just a dash or two of sparkle!) is a party! We love easy, DIY party decorating ideas and we’ve got one for you today. Napkins are a great way to change up a party look and add some instant flair to your dinner table, and our DIY napkins tutorial can do just that!

They are easy to make, look fantastic, and are environmentally-friendly. Ps, how cute are these measuring tape-styled napkin rings?! They are part of our new barware collection that will be coming soon, so stay tuned! So, call all of your closest friends and get to DIY-ing, ’cause you’ve got a party to plan!

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having an amazing day so far. There are 15 more days till Christmas and there is still so much to do (eek!). As much as I adore the holidays, I always tend to plan to do too much (Pinterest…I’m looking at you!) and as a result, some things may be put to the last minute. DIY projects are perfect for those meaningful, yet fun and simple gifts to give to all your loved ones. We’ve got lots of free projects on our website and blog that you can use this holiday season; be sure to have a look around our sites for your favorites! We’ve got a stunning DIY project for you today, one that would be perfect for that friend who is always on trend. “If you really love Christmas, come on and let it snow.” – Billy Hack, Love Actually

Today’s free project is our Beaded Clutch Tutorial, using our Mint to Be collection. We also created this clutch in a couple of other collections, including our Penelope Collection! A clutch is a wardrobe essential; it can be used as a bag divider for all your loose products and then interchanged for nighttime. The style of this clutch is beautiful and elegant, especially with the scalloped edges and added beads for that extra touch of glam. If you’re thinking of making this clutch for a friend this Christmas, we definitely suggest getting some extra fabric…we’re pretty sure you’ll want to make one for yourself too. Let’s get sewing!
