Happy Tuesday! We hope you all are having a lovely day so far. Today is National Parfait Day = Yum! Of course, we love our parfaits anytime and any day…but today just gives us all the more reason ;)

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day!! Today we are featuring our fantastic and stylish Yoga Bag Tutorial on the blog. With all the upcoming holiday parties (and thus, all the delicious food!!), we’re going to need to prep by being gentle to our bodies. We love yoga as a form of exercise, as it is also great for stretching muscles and flexibility. As well, it is a wonderful stress reliever so it’ll also be great after the rush of Christmas shopping! (and we’ll definitely need it for that!!)

Happy Tuesday!! We hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. So much wind here today! The sun is out and there’s snow on the ground…but it’s freezing out there, so we’re glad to be inside. And speaking of our Fresh Solids…this week’s How To’s Day features our stunning solids in our New Bohemian Quilt by Sarah Laws Made. Sarah Laws created a couple of wonderful exclusive free quilt patterns for our Free Projects Program, which we are so incredibly enthused to share with you. Sarah’s style is modern and fresh, characteristics that embody who we are at Camelot Fabrics so we were thrilled to work with such a creative pattern designer. Our New Bohemian Quilt is a quilt of triangles sewn together to create a really cool pattern of intricate details and geometric shapes. The colors from our Fresh Solids are vibrant and exuberant, and work perfectly together to create this boho-inspired design.

It’s time for this week’s How To’s Day! Today we are featuring our Tablet Case Tutorial from Hypernoodle, a case that is equally protective and stylish for your tablet. Long gone are the days of those industrial-looking and plain cases that, yes, are functional…but really not that pretty to look at. We’ve solved that problem with our fabric case so that now you’ll want to carry your tablet with you everywhere! The slight padding adds support, and the size will fit a standard tablet. As well, the snap closure makes it easy for you to use your tablet and then store it back.

We used our Iconic by Camelot Design Studio Collection to feature our tablet case, which makes it very modern and chic. The pink and navy pairing of our case is super pretty and elegant, and makes for the perfect companion for the stylish technologist-a on the go!

Happy Tuesday! We hope everyone is having an absolutely wonderful day so far. We launched our Fall 2014 Collections last week and all the responses have been so amazing!! We are so happy that you love all of our new collections, and can’t wait to see all the lovely projects created by you with them. If you haven’t seen all of our newest collections yet, you can read about them all on our blog. As well, check out our website for all the designs.

In the heart of our new collections, today’s How To’s Day is featuring one of them – Elixir by Camelot Design Studio. As well, we have launched a new quilt design for our Free Projects Program by one of our wonderful project designers, Anne Sullivan of Play Crafts, Our Festival Quilt is a stunner – it is so pretty and modern, and the perfect quilt for a couch spread or as well as wall decor. The diamond blocks give the illusion of being the foreground of the quilt, almost as if there is a 3-dimensional effect. Our Festival Quilt has a whimsical flair, the fabric pieces not perfectly equal or in any special order, which gives it a more intricate and fun look.

Our Festival Quilt looks so pretty with our Elixir Collection; the mint, grey, and navy hues working perfectly with one another in this quilt design. We love how the turquoise prints are used within the squares, which creates that modern 3-dimensional look. So, so pretty!
