CALL FOR PATTERN DESIGNERS
June 16th, 2016 by Camelot Fabrics
Camelot Fabrics has always been about more than just fabrics! We take pride in presenting new fabric collections, artists & licenses as our goal is to please crafters, quilters and sewers alike!
But we now want to do more!
We want to give the best pattern designs to our customers and we realize that great designers are a very important part of our success. So we would like to have YOU submit your ideas to us!
We are looking for projects in any of these categories:
- Quilts
- Apparel & Costumes
- Home, Office & Party Decor
- Bags & Purses
- Sewing Basics
- Toys
- Handmade Holidays
Projects can range from fabric by the yard to precut. They can come in all size, from a small purse to a King size quilt. We can use easy to make projects as well as some challenging ones. You come up with the idea and we will supply the fabric. Let us show off your talent as an exceptional designer.
You can submit a pattern that you are planning to launch on your own and are simply looking for the perfect fabric collection but if you need some help to get started we can mentor you by having your design be part of our Free Projects section on our website.
You can send us your submission idea by e-mail for review whenever you have the inspiration. We will select projects twice a year: July and February. If you’ve not received an acceptance letter by mid-August or mid-March (whichever is closest to your submission date) feel free to resubmit to other companies. EQ drawings or sketches are preferred.
We can’t wait to see what you’ve Freshly Made with Camelot Fabrics!

Hi,
I would be very interested in designing with Camelot Fabrics. Is it possible to get 150 dpi images for use in EQ7. I would be very happy to receive those so I can design my submissions using your fabrics.

Hi, I would very much like to send you some of our ideas for review. Our patterns require design fabric for both the front of an item as items are reversible.
Currently our patterns range from Wall H angings/Front Door Quilts, Table Runner, Place Mats, Purses and our newest item the “Yes Vest” which is still at the printers.
Please let me know if you are interested,I a currently working with fabric manipulation projects, yes, reversible.
