THANKFUL THURSDAY: DISGUISE AT QUILT MARKET
June 30th, 2016 by Camelot Fabrics
Continuing our Thankful Thursday Quilt Market theme. Our booth was so nice, and we had so many compliments that we want to ensure that we thank all the contributors. We couldn’t have done it without the help of very talented individuals.
This week, I would like to feature the Disguise Collection by Paula McGloin
A 3D quilt was the star of this display, featuring the collection’s eight animal masks in true theatrical array. The quilt was made by the talented Dominique Ehrmann. We were so thrilled when she accepted to make the piece considering that she was preparing her first exhibit at the Shelburne Museum.
A masked cat pillow and delectable ballerina doll played on the theatrical theme, while an appliqué clutch and pleated girl’s dress were appropriately extravagant.
Make the projects:
Brigitte Ballerina Doll | Retromama
Animal Masks | Camelot Fabrics free DIY
Glenda Convertible Clutch | Swoon
Josephine Pleated Dress | Honeydew Kisses
And in case you’re wondering! We used Bosal Inner Form Plus to make all our masks.
Thanks again to these talented individuals ! But remember that the fabric will only be available in October! Contact your local Quilt Shop to ensure they stock up on this wonderful collection.
