If you’ve been reading our blogs, you probably noticed that something has changed over at Camelot Fabrics.  You’re right! There’s a new person writing the blogs! As more and more people love our fabrics, the company is growing and needing more help.

When Camelot Fabrics decided to expand in the marketing and merchandising department, they wanted to ensure that their new staff would be passionate about the industry and that’s how Cinzia and I joined the team.  Since we’ve started, we noticed that there are MORE new faces. I thought a blog would be a great place to officially introduce everyone and I hope that this blog will be the first of many!

Let’s take a look at a couple of the new faces in the office:

Cinzia is a maker, teacher, speaker, writer and blogger in the quilting community.  She is the founder of the Montreal Modern Quilt Guild and won a ribbon at QuiltCon in 2015.  She has also won ribbons at other shows, including a first place ribbon just last weekend!  You can find her latest pattern in Modern Patchwork magazine’s spring 2016 issue.  Cinzia is our new Product Development Manager and you can be sure you will be seeing lots of fresh ideas from her!  You can meet her during Quilt Canada in Toronto where she will be teaching her improve quilting class.

Claire (yes that’s me writing the blog) is a maker, teacher, speaker, writer and blogger in the quilting community, owned a quilt shop for twelve years and has won several ribbons, including a second place ribbon just last weekend. I am the new Marketing Manager. Keep an eye open for me on our social media and blog!
