FABRIC GIFT WRAP IDEAS
1) GIFT WRAP OPTION #1 – works well for any gift size
TOOLS/SUPPLIES:
- Kraft Paper
- Fabric of Choice (We chose our Alchemy Collection, SKUs 2143301 #3 and 2143303 #2)
- Gift Tag
- Twine or Ribbon
STEPS:
1 – Measure out and cut a piece of kraft paper, enough to cover your gift. Cut a piece of fabric long enough to wrap around the width of your gift. You can also choose to wrap your gift in fabric first, like tissue paper!
2 – Wrap your gift with the kraft paper! We like folding in opposite sides first, attaching a piece of tape to hold…
…and then folding in the alternate sides, like an envelope.
3 – Wrap your piece of fabric around the width of your present. We like having about an inch of kraft paper peaking through, at the top and bottom.
4 – Add a pretty piece of ribbon or twine around your present, along with a gift tag and voila – pretty as can be!
1) GIFT WRAP OPTION #2 – works well with any gift, from a jewelry box to an oddly-shaped toy!
TOOLS/SUPPLIES:
- Fabric of Choice (We chose our Flourish collection, SKUs 3240201 #1 and 3240204 #3)
- Gift Tag
STEPS:
1 – Optional step, but you can wrap your gift in fabric first (like tissue paper!). Cut out a large piece of fabric, enough to wrap around your gift.
2 – Place gift in the middle of your fabric. Take fabric corners of opposite ends, one in each hand, and tie them together. Do the same for the other two corners.
3 – Add a cute gift tag, and you’ll have the prettiest present to give!
1) GIFT WRAP OPTION #3 – works well with tubular gifts or something rolled (such as a sweater!)
TOOLS/SUPPLIES:
- Fabric of Choice (We feature our Winter Wonderland collection, SKU 6141506 #2)
- Elastic Bands
- Ribbon or Twine
- Gift Tag
STEPS:
An optional step, but you can choose to use more than one fabric to wrap. Just be sure to roll them together, with one on top of the other.
1 – Cut a piece of fabric, enough to wrap around your gift with loose ends. Roll up your gift!
2 – Tie both ends with elastic bands to secure, and then add some festive cheer with twine or ribbon.
3 – Such an adorable gift… and everyone will be curious as to what’s inside!
1) GIFT WRAP OPTION #4 – works well with tubular gifts or something rolled (such as a sweater!)
TOOLS/SUPPLIES:
- Fabric of Choice (We’ve chosen our With Love collection, SKUs 4142001 #1 and 4142006 #3)
- Ribbon or Twine
- Gift Tag
STEPS:
1 – Cut a piece of fabric large enough for your gift. You may choose to wrap your gift in another piece of fabric, like tissue paper!
2 – Place your gift in the middle of the fabric. Start with opposite sides together…
2 – Fold in the two other ends, tucking in the sides like an envelope.
3 – Tie ribbon or twine around your present, creating a pretty bow on top!
4 – Add a gift tag for that special someone. How lovely!!
